The club was established in the fall of 1907, and joined the Robert Burns World Federation in 1911.

The Winnipeg Robert Burns Club is the oldest, continuously existing federated Burns Club outside the United Kingdom.

The club is also a member of the Robert Burns Association of North America, (RBANA) established in 1980 as the North American Association of Federated Burnsians (NAAFB).

During the weekend of August 2-6 the club hosted the Annual Conference of the Robert Burns World Federation

The club meets for lunch six times a year - monthly between October and April (with the exception of January), hosts the annual Burns Supper on January 25, holds a memorial service annually in July, near the anniversary of Burns death, and hosts a display and information booth at the Pavilion of Scotland during the annual Folklorama Festival.

Our annual membership fee remains at $7.00.
